ESLL VOLUNTEER POLICIES
Hours worked in the Snack Shack MUST be logged into the Volunteer Hours Tracking Log and APPROVED by the Snack Shack Coordinator.
Hours worked in Field Prep MUST be logged into the Volunteer Hours Tracking Log and APPROVED by the Field Manager.
BBQ volunteer must be 18 years of age or older.
NO SHOW POLICY
- If you need to reschedule or cancel a shift, you must do so (either via Sign Up Genius or by emailing the Volunteer Coordinator) before 48 hours from the shift start time, or you will forfeit your volunteer deposit.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for any shift (snack shack, field prep, etc.), you will be asked to go home, as we will have had to find a replacement. You will be given one opportunity to reschedule before your deposit is forfeited.
- If you do not show up for your shift, you forfeit your volunteer deposit and you will be removed from the volunteer roster.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
- If volunteer shifts are canceled due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances ,the Volunteer Coordinator will work with you to find another shift(s).
HIRING A SUB - SNACK SHACK ONLY - POLICIES & APPROVED LIST OF PROVIDERS
If you are unable to volunteer, you have the opportunity to hire a sub to complete your service requirement. The current pay rate is $60 per shift. Upon completion of six hours, the scheduling family will receive credit for the volunteer requirement for one player.
HOW TO HIRE A SUB:
Email our Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] so they can coordinate and hire from our approved list of subs. Parents are not to hire subs themselves. After a sub is secured, you will edit your Sign Up Genius shift and enter the sub’s name in the comments section. You will be given the contact details for your sub to arrange payment. ESLL is not involved in the payment between parents and subs.
Hired subs must be paid within 24 hours of their shift or your volunteer deposit check will be forfeited.
